We are a gathering of people from Erie and Crawford counties who are concerned that the US war on terrorism has become a permanent global war. We are committed to education and action to stop this "War on Terrorism." We want to stop the escalation and spread of such war and to work for true justice and peace.

Journey of the Ribbons

As secretary of the Erie Peace Initiative I am searching for local coffee shops and venues for display or our ribbons of the US fallen troops in Iraq. We also would like to find places to leave a few of our donation jars. Please let me know asap if interested.

The following is on a plaque which we hang w ribbons.
The ribbons on display have been respectively inscribed with the names of the first 4,346 plus U.S. armed service men and women who lost their lives in Iraq since the American invasion/occupation of that country on March 19, 2003 by The Erie Peace Initiative (www.eriepeaceinitiative.org), in collaboration with the Erie chapter of Iraq Veterans Against the War
