We are a gathering of people from Erie and Crawford counties who are concerned that the US war on terrorism has become a permanent global war. We are committed to education and action to stop this "War on Terrorism." We want to stop the escalation and spread of such war and to work for true justice and peace.

7:05 meeting called to order

In attendance……Jane Kirk, Bob Johnson, Al and Peggy Richardson, Barb Roseborough, Anne Zielinski, Claire Kennedy, Lora Caldwell, Richard McVay, Mark Mateja

Discussion about Darrell Vandeveld, who is speaking March 19th at 7pm . Cookies and cider provided. We will set up ribbons and cookies at 6:00.

News Coverage for Vandeveld: we are waiting for a call back to see if he can possibly do a TV interview at the noon rally or before his Mercyhurst class. But it sounds like he will not be free immediately before the talk on the 19th.

Al Richardson presented printed program in which corrections were made. Claire Kennedy will make 100 copies.

Richard finalized press release.

Rally at noon in Perry Square. Bring a sign. We are not using end the war signs. Wear black. Meadville Women in Black will be there with a flags display.

Next meeting Mar 31stth 7pm

Lora's update on the ribbons: Jen has a contact for display that will start Apr 6th.

Counter-recruiting needs follow through at next meeting.
