We are a gathering of people from Erie and Crawford counties who are concerned that the US war on terrorism has become a permanent global war. We are committed to education and action to stop this "War on Terrorism." We want to stop the escalation and spread of such war and to work for true justice and peace.

5 Years Too Many March (March 9, 2008)

On Sunday, March 9, 2008, the Erie Peace Initiative organized events around the 5th anniversary of the war in Iraq. There was a march in silence. The names of fallen soldiers were written on the red tags carried by marchers. The march went from the gazebo at Perry Square to St. Patrick's Cauley Auditorium, 315 E 4th St, Erie PA.
